The Wave rapid connection joints are ingeniously crafted for seamless integration with 11/12 (Rilsan), 10/12 polyamide, or elastomeric polyester (Hyltrel) pipes. Responding to evolving market demands, WAVE has innovatively engineered a universal joint that enables effortless pipe recovery post-insertion.
To ensure optimal performance, pipe tolerances and characteristics must strictly adhere to these key industry standards: DIN 74324, DIN 73378, ISO 7628, and SAE J844. Only pipes meeting these stringent specifications or those given prior clearance by WAVE are suitable for use.
WAVE joints are predominantly fabricated using high-grade materials such as EN 12164 CW614 N (CuZn39Pb3), EN 12165 CW617 N (CuZn40Pb2), PA 66 GF30, PA 6.10 GF30, EPDM, and NBR, ensuring durability and reliability across applications.
These joints boast an impressive thermal tight seal capacity, withstanding temperatures from a lofty +100°C down to a frigid -40°C, and can endure a maximum pressure of 15bar. The threaded part of the joint adheres to the exacting standards of ISO 6149 and DIN 3852, guaranteeing a secure and leak-proof seal.
Designed specifically for air applications, this joint is not suitable for use with other fluids or gases unless express permission is granted by WAVE, ensuring safety and integrity in its use.
