The Wave rapid connection joints are meticulously engineered for compatibility with 11/12 (Rilsan), 10/12 polyamide, or elastomeric polyester (Hyltrel) pipes. In response to evolving market demands, WAVE has innovatively crafted a singular joint capable of recovering the pipe after insertion, enhancing both efficiency and reliability.
To ensure optimal performance, the pipe tolerances and characteristics must adhere strictly to the established norms: DIN 74324, DIN 73378, ISO 7628, and SAE J844. Usage of any alternative pipe type requires prior authorization from WAVE, safeguarding product integrity and performance.
Our WAVE joints are predominantly fabricated from premium materials such as EN 12164 CW614 N (CuZn39Pb3), EN 12165 CW617 N (CuZn40Pb2), PA 66 GF30, PA 6.10 GF30, EPDM, and NBR. These materials are chosen for their durability and capacity to withstand rigorous conditions.
The threads' thermal seal is proficiently estimated to function between temperatures of +100°C and -40°C, with a maximum pressure endurance of 15bar. The joint's threaded part seal is crafted to comply with ISO 6149 and DIN 3852 standards, ensuring unmatched safety and reliability.
Specifically designed for air applications, the joint is not suitable for other fluids/gases unless granted explicit authorization by WAVE. This design consideration ensures optimal performance and safety in its intended applications.
