Up to 6 times lighter than forged fittings, the 65 series features a lightweight and corrosion-resistant acetal or brass body and a forged brass center pin. This fitting allows you to adapt the end of a tube to a 90 degree angle. This fitting is available in multiple materials and finishes including brass, stainless steel, and acetal. Each fitting is stamped with a part number, ensuring easy identification at all points in the supply chain. This elbow subassembly is typically used in fuel systems where copper tube to copper tube connections are recommended. The number of threads required to make the connection can vary based on the pipe material, wall thickness and thread pitch.
