The innovative Wave rapid connection joints are engineered precisely to accommodate 11/12 (Rilsan), 10/12 polyamide, or elastomeric polyester (Hyltrel) pipes. In response to market demands, WAVE has meticulously crafted a versatile joint capable of pipe recovery post-insertion.
To ensure optimal performance, the pipe tolerances and characteristics must align strictly with standards: DIN 74324, DIN 73378, ISO 7628, and SAE J844. Usage of any other pipe type is strictly prohibited unless with pre-authorization from WAVE.
Precision-engineered WAVE joints are predominantly made from high-grade materials: EN 12164 CW614 N (CuZn39Pb3), EN 12165 CW617 N (CuZn40Pb2), PA 66 GF30, PA 6.10 GF30, EPDM, and NBR.
With exceptional thermal integrity, our threads maintain a reliable seal in temperatures ranging from +100°C to -40°C, under a maximum pressure of 15 bar. The threaded part's seal adheres to ISO 6149 and DIN 3852 standards.
Designed specifically for air, the joint is unsuitable for other fluids/gases unless specific authorization is granted by WAVE, given the tailored engineering for air applications.
