The strict adherence to pipe tolerances and characteristics is crucial, conforming to the esteemed standards of DIN 74324, DIN 73378, ISO 7628, and SAE J844. Usage of other pipe types is strictly prohibited unless prior authorization is granted by WAVE, maintaining the integrity and performance of the product.
WAVE joints are predominantly constructed using the finest materials such as EN 12164 CW614 N (CuZn39Pb3), EN 12165 CW617 N (CuZn40Pb2), PA 66 GF30, PA 6.10 GF30, EPDM, and NBR. Each material is chosen for its superior quality and compatibility, ensuring the longevity and reliability of the joints.
The joints boast an impressive thermal tight seal, withstanding temperatures between +100°C and -40°C and supporting a maximum pressure of 15bar. The joint's threaded part adheres to ISO 6149 and DIN 3852 standards, assuring a secure and reliable seal.
Engineered specifically for air applications, the joint is not suitable for other fluids or gases unless explicitly authorized by WAVE. This specificity guarantees optimal performance and safety.
