The BD Push-In Male Connector is designed for use with the following D.O.T FMVSS 571.106 approved tubing materials: SAE J844 Type A & B nylon, Buna N(NBR) and Teflo FEP-Tefzel (PFA) tubing. The body of this connector contains a brass collet that grips around the outside diameter of the tubing, enabling it to remain securely in place once set up correctly. It includes a stainless steel tube support that prevents clamps from crushing or distorting soft or thin walled tubing plus it provides a smooth finished surface on all four faces where they contact the connectors inside diameter. The external diameter at the tip is 37mm (1-3/8") so none of our plugs will have to be ground down to fit. We recommend using a Spade Linger Spring Clamp, which can be purchased separately.The AQ68DOT Push-In male connector is a captive nut assembly that serves as a fitting to connect one end of a flexible hose or tubing to another hose or fitting. It has a front double clamp with hexagonal hole and Buna N O-ring seal. The body is machined from brass, plated with zinc and chromium for corrosion resistance. It features an oversize steel spool which prevents kinking and the tube support out of stainless steel provides an excellent sealing function.
