The Wave rapid connection joints are ingeniously crafted for seamless use with 11/12 (Rilsan), 10/12 polyamide, or elastomeric polyester (Hyltrel) pipes. Driven by the evolving market needs, WAVE has masterfully engineered a versatile single joint capable of recovering the pipe post-insertion, ensuring a reliable and efficient connection.
For optimal performance, the pipe tolerances and characteristics must adhere rigorously to the standards: DIN 74324, DIN 73378, ISO 7628, and SAE J844. Utilization of any other pipe type without prior authorization from WAVE is strictly prohibited, ensuring the highest quality and safety.
WAVE joints are expertly manufactured using premium materials such as EN 12164 CW614 N (CuZn39Pb3), EN 12165 CW617 N (CuZn40Pb2), PA 66 GF30, PA 6.10 GF30, EPDM, and NBR. These materials are selected for their superior performance and longevity.
The joints boast an impressive thermal tight seal, estimated to operate efficiently between +100°C and -40°C, with a maximum pressure tolerance of 15bar. The seal of the joint's threaded part is meticulously compliant with ISO 6149 and DIN 3852 standards, ensuring uncompromised safety and performance.
Designed exclusively for air, the joint is unsuited for other fluids or gases unless specifically sanctioned by WAVE, safeguarding its integrity and functionality.
